About This Event

Josephine Foster and Víctor Herrero will perform at The Old Market in Brighton on 9 October 2026. The event promises an intimate evening of folk music, featuring Foster's unique interpretations and Herrero's classical guitar. Tickets are priced at £18.75.

Singer and poet Josephine Foster and composer Víctor Herrero join forces for an intimate evening of hypnotic folk performances in TOM’s Bar.

A former opera student turned visionary folk experimentalist, Foster breathes new life into the classics with warmth and interpretive wit. Her recent record Adormidera, featuring the music of Spanish composer and Foster’s long-time collaborator Víctor Herrero, animates the rich traditions of classical guitar with haunting and immediate vocals. This finely detailed work is the kind that can only be crafted by a true expert in her field.
