Every great adventure needs a home base. Once a month, award-winning comedian Juliette Burton opens the doors to her ever-expanding creative universe: stand-up, interactive games, theatrical experiments, witchcraft, superheroes, board games and whatever exciting obsession she’s currently exploring. Some shows are polished, some are chaotic works in progress but they’re all part of the same ongoing adventure… involving YOU!

HEX APPEAL

New Year. Ancient You.

A brand-new witchy comedy exploring the strange places where folklore, feminism, technology and modern life collide.

Can ancient folklore teach us how to be super-ultra-modern old souls? Award-winning comedian Juliette burton is a witchy gal in a WiFi world. Ancient wisdom call to her deeply than algorithms, potions mean more than podcasts, tarot hits better than TikTok. How can we find balance in the Divinely aligned when our likes, subscribers and follower counts aren’t adding up? Is a sorceress of the sisterhood simply a Luddite being left behind? A modern mystical misadventure for anyone who’s ever felt born in the wrong century. And yes, Juliette does wonder whether AI would’ve written better marketing copy. (No chatbots were harmed or indeed summoned in the making of this show.)

A show exploring ancient wisdom, witches, goddesses, queens… spells, enchantment and folklore in a stand up show right from the belly of the beast. Mother, maiden, crone – whoever you identify as, you’re welcome to step over the comedy threshold.
