Kemp Town's brand new comedy event, hosted by Neil McFarlane, kicks off at the Rock Inn on Thursday 24th Sept 2026 at 8pm.

Join us for an evening full of laughter —because this promises to make you laugh your rocks off!

Neil McFarlane is a comedian who’s been at it in every sense for a distressingly long time. From Glasgow but unfeasibly well spoken, he was a regional finalist in the BBC’s inaugural New Comedy Awards oooh way back when. He’s had all his jabs and he increasingly keeps his clothes on, at least in public life. Allow him to divert you from the horrific truth of your own existential plight, and occasionally to say the word “seepage”.

Dan Evans has been a Stand Up Comedian for 2 decades. He chiefly performs in the UK but has also taken daft tales of babysitting, hair-loss and decrepitude to Europe, Dubai, Singapore, Vietnam and Hong Kong.

Dan's written for many other performers (among them Milton Jones, Mickey Flanagan, Zoe Lyons and Frankie Boyle) as well as for TV and Radio with credits including Frankie Boyle's New World Order (BBC2) and Thanks a Lot Milton Jones! (BBC R4).
