About This Event

A self-guided audio adventure will run on 27 September 2026 in Brighton. The route includes fifteen stops across the old town and North Laine, featuring sites like the Royal Pavilion and Middle Street Synagogue, with a duration of roughly two hours at your own pace.

A palace shimmering like an Eastern mirage, a hidden chapel echoing with royal secrets and cobbled lanes that once fuelled seaside scandal. Brighton is far stranger than it seems. Set off on a self-guided audio adventure to uncover the city subversive past, whispered legends and overlooked treasures, roaming from the flamboyant Royal Pavilion and the Brighton Dome to the Chapel Royal, Middle Street Synagogue and sanctuaries most visitors never find. Fifteen stops across the old town and North Laine, roughly two hours at your own pace, with narration playing as you walk. Your phone is the guide, so start whenever you like and pause for coffee whenever you want.
