The GRLS are back for another one 🫶🏼 This time we’re escaping London for the day, starting in the beautiful town of Lewes and making our way across the South Downs towards Brighton.

A wholesome day out with the girls! Join us for a summer hike and enjoy a well deserved beach break after ~ with R&B, Bashment & Amapiano soundtracking the day 🎶

Expect gorgeous countryside, good music, games along the way, plenty of chats and, of course, a beach link-up once we reach Brighton. Bring your energy, bring your girls or come solo, you’ll leave knowing people either way <3

Once we finish the hike, we’ll head down to Brighton Beach to chill, grab some food and enjoy the rest of the afternoon together 🌊☀

This free ticket does NOT include your train fare. You’ll need to book your own train ticket - more info below.

THE HIKE 🥾

Route: Lewes → Brighton approx 14km

Duration 3-4hrs

Elevation gain 250m/820ft

Difficulty: Moderate

Terrain: South Downs, countryside paths & hills

There’ll be a few climbs along the way, so expect to get those steps in, but we’ll be taking breaks and keeping it social. You don’t need to be an experienced hiker to join us.

THE PLAN 💗

Meet: London Victoria

Train: London Victoria 9:46 → Lewes 10:55am

Hike start: Lewes

Lunch: Bring a packed lunch/snacks - we’ll find a cute spot along the route to stop, eat and chill.

Finish: Brighton

After the hike: Brighton Beach 🌊☀️

Once we arrive in Brighton we’ll head to the beach for food, music, games and a proper chill with the girls before making our way back to London.

TRAINS & TICKETS 🚆

Your SOULSURV ticket does NOT include your train fare.

You’ll need to book your own ticket from London to Lewes, with your return journey from Brighton back to London.

We’ll share the exact recommended train, meeting point and travel details before the event, so please keep an eye on the WhatsApp group for updates.

You can meet us directly at Lewes - car park lewes station BN7 2UP *please keep in mind we finish our day in Brighton so you would need to get a train back to lewes to pick up your car

WHAT TO BRING

• Plenty of water

• Snacks / packed lunch

• Proper walking or hiking shoes

• Sun cream & a hat if it’s sunny

• Towel for the beach

• Good energy 💗

SAFETY & CONDITIONS

Parts of the route may be muddy or slippery, especially after rain, so proper footwear is important.

Weather on the South Downs can change quickly, so please bring suitable layers and a waterproof even if the forecast looks good.

Stay with the group, follow instructions from the SOULSURV team and take extra care on uneven or steep sections of the route.
