South East Construction Networking Breakfast

We are delighted to invite you to the South East Construction Breakfast, taking place on Wednesday 9th September 2026 at the American Express Stadium (Amex), Brighton. Guests will have the opportunity to network with fellow construction and property professionals over a selection of teas, coffees and breakfast rolls before hearing from two leading voices at the forefront of local government reform.

The event will be led by Jonathan Buckwell, Director at DHA Planning, who will provide an overview of what the move towards a single unitary authority for East Sussex and Brighton & Hove means in practice for the development and construction sector, together with the wider programme of local government reorganization following the Government's announcement on 16 July 2026. We will also be joined by a member of the newly established Sussex and Brighton Strategic Authority (SBSA), who will provide an insight into the role of the new authority, its priorities, and how it will operate as it prepares the region for its first mayoral election.
