Scottish singer-songwriter Tommy Ashby creates expansive, emotionally rich indie folk that blends intimate storytelling with atmospheric soundscapes. Raised in the Scottish Borders and shaped by a deep connection to the natural world, Tommy's music pairs quietly powerful vocals and intricate guitar work with a rare understanding of sound itself, informed by his PhD research into psychoacoustics and the way we experience music.

His debut album Lamplighter marked a defining moment in his career, delivering a deeply personal collection of songs praised for its warmth, honesty and cinematic sense of scale. Working alongside Grammy-winning engineer and producer Sam Okell, Tommy has developed a distinctive sound that sits somewhere between indie folk, alternative pop and the great tradition of songwriter-led storytelling.

Tommy's music has reached audiences around the world, with tracks featured in major television productions including Grey's Anatomy, Love Island and Silent Witness, alongside support from BBC Radio and tastemaker publications. His live performances have seen him headline intimate venues, appear at renowned sessions and support artists including Nina Nesbitt, Jamie Lawson and Tom Speight.
