Join us in person for a screening of Traumality, followed by a panel discussion exploring trauma, its impact and pathways to understanding. TRAUMALITY is a groundbreaking feature-length documentary challenging the way we understand mental health. Created by British filmmaker Ton Mazzone, the film explores the growing evidence linking childhood trauma to many of the mental health diagnoses seen today. Through internationally recognised experts, lived experience and emerging science, it examines why our mental health system remains rooted in a medical model, what a trauma-informed approach could look like and what it might take to create a society that understands people not simply by what's wrong with them, but by what's happened to them. Following the screening of Traumality, we will be joined by an expert panel featuring Ton Mazzone, Writer, Director and Producer of Traumality; Dr Susanna Petche, NHS GP, Founder of Trauma-Sense and TEDx Speaker; Dr Laura Marshall-Andrews, GP and Author; and Louise Michelle Bombèr, Author, Specialist Teacher, Therapist and Creator of Allado. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the panel during a 30-minute Q&A. This film is rated 18 and is suitable for adults aged 18 and over only.
