RIBA Bristol & Bath explores how AI is reshaping architecture, from design and visualisation to creativity, craft and practice.
AI + ARCHITECTURE - From Intelligence to Making
Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the way architects design, communicate and deliver projects. But beyond efficiency and automation, what could AI mean for creativity, craft and the future of architectural practice?
RIBA Bristol & Bath invites you to an evening exploring the emerging relationship between AI and architecture, bringing together two speakers approaching the subject from different but complementary perspectives.
George Proud, Gendo will explore how generative AI is already transforming architectural visualisation and creative workflows, looking at how new tools can help architects develop, communicate and test ideas in ways that were not previously possible.
Tomas Millar, Millar + Howard Workshop will take a broader look at what AI could mean for architecture and the profession. Tomas believes we may be at the beginning of a new creative renaissance, with AI offering opportunities not simply to work faster, but to unlock new forms of creativity, craft and a richer built environment.
Together, the talks will move from the practical applications of AI today to the bigger questions about where the technology could take architecture next.
The evening will include presentations from both speakers, followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion. Drinks and informal networking will follow.
Whether you are already experimenting with AI or simply curious about what it might mean for architectural practice, the event will offer practical insight, fresh perspectives and plenty to discuss.
