Bristol Eye Hospital Observer/Honorary Placement Visit Are you considering a career in ophthalmology, or are you an established Ophthalmologist looking to gain experience in a busy regional tertiary referral centre? Join us for an in‑person observational visit at Bristol Eye Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to see day‑to‑day clinical practice, learn from experienced specialists and gain real insight into the world of ophthalmology. Our observer/honorary placement programme provides a valuable introduction to eye care services within the National Health Service and offers a supportive environment for learning and professional development. There will be opportunities for you to observe in outpatient clinics, attend theatres and potentially be involved with research and teaching. We run an active post-graduate teaching programme on a Friday afternoon which you would be welcome to attend. Each ticket is the equivalent of 5 days as an observer.
