BROOKLYN ZOO PRESENTS: GAFF
NEW YEAR'S EVE 2026
THURSDAY 31ST DECEMBER
THE PROSPECT BUILDING - CRANE ROOM, BRISTOL
A BRAND NEW HOUSE PARTY EXPERIENCE FROM THE PEOPLE BEHIND BROOKLYN ZOO.
THERE'S A PARTY AT OUR GAFF. AND YOU'RE INVITED.
Brooklyn Zoo has spent more than a decade throwing the littest parties in Bristol.
Now we're starting something completely new.
And it all came from a pretty simple idea.
Everyone loves a good house party.
The people.
The music.
The kitchen conversations.
The living room that somehow turns into a dancefloor.
The songs everybody knows, even the ones nobody wants to admit they love.
There's just one problem.
Someone has to host it.
Someone has to clean up.
Someone has to deal with the neighbours.
And someone always ends up with a house full of people who won't leave.
So we thought...
WHAT IF WE THREW THE HOUSE PARTY FOR YOU?
Introducing GAFF .
A brand new club and event series from the people behind Brooklyn Zoo.
We're taking everything you love about a proper house party, combining it with the energy you've come to know from Brooklyn Zoo, and building something considerably bigger.
And for our very first party, we're taking over the Crane Room at Bristol's Prospect Building this New Year's Eve.
Not just a warehouse with a DJ.
An actual house party. Built inside a warehouse.
Sofas. Coffee tables. Rugs. Lamps. Wallpaper. A kitchen bar. Oversized furniture. A huge chandelier planned above the DJs.
An entire club production built around the feeling of being in someone's house.
Just with a serious sound system, a lot more people and considerably less chance of the neighbours complaining.
WE'LL THROW THE PARTY.
YOU WON'T HAVE TO CLEAN UP.
Welcome to GAFF.
SONGS YOU KNOW. MIXED IN A WAY YOU DON'T.
Think about the best house party you've ever been to.
Nobody stood around arguing about music genres.
Nobody cared what BPM the next song was.
Someone put on a House record.
Then came a Garage classic.
Then Sean Paul.
Then everybody knew every word to an R&B tune.
Then somehow the whole room was jumping to Drum & Bass.
That's the idea behind GAFF.
One room. No strict genre boundaries.
House into Garage.
Garage into Dancehall.
Dancehall into Drum & Bass.
Rap, R&B, Afrobeats and the biggest party anthems of the last twenty years alongside the records everyone's playing right now.
Familiar songs.
Unexpected transitions.
DJs who know how to connect them.
NO GENRE RULES. NO SEPARATE ROOMS. JUST ONE BIG HOUSE PARTY.
Here's what you can expect to hear.
PARTY ANTHEMS, HIP-HOP, R&B & AFROBEATS
Rihanna / Drake / Beyoncé / Burna Boy / J Hus / SZA / Nelly / Dizzee Rascal / Tems / Wizkid / Outkast / Kanye West / The Weeknd + more.
The records you grew up with.
The ones you forgot about.
The ones that remind you of someone you probably shouldn't text.
The songs that make an entire room sing the same words.
Rap classics.
R&B favourites.
Afrobeats.
Throwback anthems.
Old songs. New edits. Unexpected mixes.
Everything brought together with the energy you'd expect from the people behind Brooklyn Zoo.
DANCEHALL & BASHMENT
Sean Paul / Vybz Kartel / Shenseea / Popcaan / Beenie Man / Spice / Skillibeng / Kranium / Konshens + more.
If you've been to Brooklyn Zoo before, you'll know what happens when the Dancehall lands.
Old school.
New school.
The records your older cousin introduced you to.
The ones you grew up hearing at every party.
And the ones everyone's playing now.
This is the part of the house where nobody stands still.
HOUSE
Disclosure / MK / Fred again.. / LF SYSTEM / Jax Jones / Chris Lake / Calvin Harris / Peggy Gou / PAWSA / Sonny Fodera / D.O.D. / Route 94 / Gorgon City + more.
From the records that shaped club culture to the biggest modern dancefloor moments.
Vocal House.
Club classics.
Big edits.
The records that make everyone turn around when they hear the first few seconds.
Old favourites into new favourites.
And plenty of surprises in between.
UK GARAGE
Sammy Virji / Interplanetary Criminal / Conducta / DJ EZ / MJ Cole / Artful Dodger / Craig David / Oppidan / MPH + more.
The swing.
The basslines.
The vocals.
Old-school UK Garage into the new generation.
Two-step, speed garage and the tunes that still sound better loud.
The kind of records that turn a living room into a rave.
DRUM & BASS
Chase & Status / Shy FX / Bou / Sub Focus / Wilkinson / Rudimental / Hybrid Minds / Dimension / Hedex + more.
Big vocals.
Classic breaks.
Rolling basslines.
From the Drum & Bass records everybody knows to the ones made for a warehouse sound system.
One minute you're singing along.
The next minute the whole room is bouncing.
ALL ARTIST NAMES ABOVE ARE MUSIC POLICY REFERENCES ONLY AND DO NOT REPRESENT CONFIRMED BOOKINGS OR LIVE PERFORMANCES.
THIS ISN'T JUST A HOUSE PARTY. WE'RE BUILDING THE HOUSE.
Anyone can call their club night a house party.
We're taking it a little further.
For GAFF, we're working with specialist production company Twelve34 to transform the Crane Room at The Prospect Building into an enormous, immersive house-party environment.
We're talking an actual production build.
A warehouse designed to feel like somebody's home.
Except somebody has made everything a lot bigger than it needs to be.
THE LIVING ROOM
The heart of the house.
Our DJ environment surrounded by sofas, coffee tables, rugs, lamps and familiar living-room furniture.
Think about the room everyone ends up in at 2am.
Now imagine it with a full club sound system and hundreds of people dancing around it.
THE CHANDELIER
Every house needs a statement piece.
Ours is planned to be an enormous chandelier suspended above the DJ area.
An oversized centrepiece bringing the whole room together.
Part house party.
Part warehouse production.
THE KITCHEN
Because somehow, at every house party, everyone ends up in the kitchen.
We're transforming the venue's bar frontage with kitchen cupboards, cabinets and the kind of details you'd normally find at home.
A kitchen built for a party considerably bigger than your average Friday night.
THE LIGHTING
Lamps. Household lighting. Warm living-room colours.
All designed to work alongside the venue's wider club lighting and production.
The familiar atmosphere of being in somebody's home.
Until the music drops and the whole place reminds you you're in a warehouse.
THE LITTLE DETAILS
Wallpaper.
Picture frames.
House-party signs.
Furniture that looks like it belongs in somebody's nan's house.
Everyday objects in places you wouldn't expect.
All the little things that make a house feel like a house.
Just on a completely different scale.
ONE WAREHOUSE. ONE ENORMOUS HOUSE PARTY.
The scenic elements above form part of the planned production concept and remain subject to final design, supplier and technical approval.
MIDNIGHT AT GAFF
There's a moment at every good house party when everything comes together.
For us, that moment is midnight.
The last few seconds of 2026.
The countdown.
The music.
The lights.
Everyone in the house celebrating the start of 2027 together.
And when the clock strikes twelve...
We're only getting started.
NEW YEAR. NEW HOUSE. SAME PARTY PEOPLE.
IF YOU KNOW BROOKLYN ZOO...
Then you know we like a proper party.
For more than a decade, Brooklyn Zoo has been part of Bristol's nightlife.
From our years at Motion to our warehouse parties at The Prospect Building.
Rap.
R&B.
Afrobeats.
Dancehall.
Thousands of people coming together for the music they love.
We've built Brooklyn Zoo around the energy of a room full of people who actually want to be there.
And we're bringing that same approach to something new.
GAFF ISN'T ANOTHER BROOKLYN ZOO NIGHT.
It's a brand new event series with its own identity.
A different musical direction.
A different environment.
A house-party atmosphere, brought to life through a full-scale production build.
But with the same people behind it.
And the same understanding of what makes a great party.
This New Year's Eve is the first-ever GAFF.
The first house.
The first party.
And the first chance to see what this becomes.
