Chess club for Autistic young people who want to build their chess skills.

We are trialling a new chess club as requested by our young people, who want to improve their chess game. The club will be run by Jason, Captain of North Bristol Chess Club and his Junior apprentice Harry.

Youngsters registered with the branch aged 5-25 can attend. All abilities welcome but your young person needs to understand the rules and how to play the game.

We will only have a small group of 8 players to start with and they will be paired up based on chess ability.

You only need to book spaces for the young person attending . Adults attending alongside and enjoy a hot drink and chat.

This group runs every 3 weeks. We will supply chess sets and refreshments.

At least 3 members of the NAS committee will be in attendance . Parents must remain at the venue and are responsible for your child at all times.
