About This Event

Dazed Muzic celebrates its 10th anniversary with an event featuring Friction at Lakota in Bristol on 19 September 2026. The lineup includes a selection of performers for the themed evening. Tickets cost £10.

We have something to share with you…..

For the past 10 years we have been running events across the south west, and we now return to where it all started for us.

10 years ago we ran 30 events over 30 weeks at the now sadly closed, Blue Mountain nightclub. This September, on the exact date of our very first event, we return to stokes Croft to take over the legendary Lakota & Coroners court.

6 stages, 50+ artists, huge production, huge sound and so much more.

Phase 1 of the line up is now out, with phase 2 coming at the end of July.

We may have a few more surprises for you along the way 👀

We welcome our friends in the industry as room hosts including Duckland, Boujee Bass, Prima and 141!

There are multiple artists by the name of Friction: 1.) Friction is an influential no wave band from Japan, originally formed under the name Circle Triangle Square in 1971 as an avant-garde music group, by bassist Reck, saxophonist Chico Hige, and drummer Sakuro Watanabe in Tokyo, Japan. In the mid 70’s, Reck and Chico went to the United States to perform, and ended up joining the Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, and later became the original members of James Chance & The Contortions before returning back to Japan.
