Dutch art-rock outfit De Staat will bring their signature fusion of angular riffs and propulsive grooves to Thekla’s unique ship-turned-venue on Monday 9 November 2026. Drawing on a catalogue that spans two decades, the setlist weaves tight, syncopated rhythms with frontman Torre Florim’s commanding baritone, shifting seamlessly between taut, danceable passages and sprawling, atmospheric soundscapes. The venue’s low ceilings and exposed steel beams amplify every percussive hit, enveloping the crowd in a dense wall of noise. As the boat’s hull vibrates in time with the bass, a subtle, restless energy infuses the performance, heightening the sense of intimacy. Tickets are priced at £26.31, with doors opening at 7pm.
