The Doing Justice to Children's Voices event, exploring how children's voices can be heard in healthcare, education, and social care, will take place at Watershed in Bristol on 2026-11-03, free to attend.
Join us for an engaging evening exploring how children's voices can be better heard in healthcare, education and social care.
How can we credit children as knowers of their own lives?
Children are often asked for their views, but are they recognised as credible knowers of their own lives? Join researchers, practitioners and young people for an evening exploring how children's voices can be better recognised in healthcare, education and social care.
Hosted by the Epistemic Injustice in Healthcare (EPIC) project and the Centre for Childhoods and Social Justice, the evening begins with a short introduction to epistemic justice. Members of Bristol's Young People's Advisory Group (YPAG) will then share creative work developed through a workshop before joining a panel discussion and audience Q&A exploring how children's knowledge and lived experience can better inform healthcare, education, social care, and the policies and practices that shape their lives.
