About This Event

**Let's explore edible + medicinal mushrooms in Bristol!** **[LOCATION: [Snuff Mills car park, 14 River View, Stapleton, Bristol BS16 1DL](https://maps.app.goo.gl/GUUQxR5oTpDYABcc9)]** We're going to be led by the wonderful **Ruby who's an incredible [artist and forager](https://www.instagram.com/artist.forager)**, with plenty of space for others to contribute, as always. Expect to touch and smell some of these mushrooms, learn about their properties and how to use them in cooking. We'll also learn about lots of other wild plants we see on the way. Open to all, as always, whatever your experience of foraging so far, this is a collective space for people who want to meet for walking together, making new friends, sharing thoughts and learning new things. **What to bring**: \- everything you'd need for a comfortable time outside like water\, a notepad\, comfy clothes and sturdy shoes \- notepad if youd like to take notes or draw\. or a jar if you'd like to take home any nettle seeds or other plants we find **Travel + Accessibility**: Snuff Mills in Bristol offers mostly flat, tarmac-paved riverside paths along the River Frome that are accessible for wheelchair users, pushchairs, and walkers. Facilities include a car park with PAID parking, accessible toilets and a local takeaway café.
