Nick -Erratic Batting:

"Listening to Bel’s songs feels equally familiar as it does fresh & progressive. I found myself revisiting noughties Bonobo, to remind myself where this sound began - and how it’s moved through Little Dragon to Sault and now, emphatically, to Bel Cobain.

The Gilles Peterson/Brownswood influence on her new album Kizzy is profound. It feels like we’re watching the next steps of an artist becoming the one she is destined to be. Bristol is honoured to support her in our small way, and be part of this journey."

\- Bel Cobain -

Bel's music transcends conventional boundaries, carving a niche with her radical ethos and poetic lyricism. Her artistry is embedded with a sense of purpose, challenging societal norms and political ideologies with every lyric penned.

Accompanied by her eclectic ensemble, Bel’s performances are a testament to her relationship with music, with each member contributing to the collective synergy.

Having graced Madia Vale Stage for Gilles Peterson, she signed to Brownswood to release her highly anticipated debut album 'Kizzy', cementing her place as one of the most exciting artists of her generation.
