Daphné Chenel returns to Bristol Folk House for a special evening, just a few days before the release of her new album. A French singer-songwriter based in Lisbon, Daphné moves between folk, indie pop and French chanson , blending a warm, distinctive voice with organic and delicate arrangements. After her first release, inspired by her early years in Lisbon, she is now opening a new chapter with a more intimate, airy and folk-leaning sound. Her new songs explore travel, encounters, change, and that strange feeling of searching for yourself while slowly finding where you belong . The first single of this new project, Lisbonne , turns the city she has called home for several years into a character of its own, with its winding streets, memories and contradictions.
