Hana Stretton is a British-Australian music producer and composer, recognised for her singular, deeply distinctive sound. Her stunning debut, Soon, quickly became a beloved work within the experimental lo-fi community. Phil Elverum described her music as “mysterious, deep, resonant, inhabitable,” and his label PW Elverum & Sun went on to release the album in 2024. Deeply connected to the natural world, Stretton’s work traces a vivid journey—from the dusty Australian bushland of Soon to the Pacific Ocean on her forthcoming LP, tiarn.
