Effigy presents  FROZEN SOUL  plus special guests  Darkest Hour  Denial of Life  Dethroned  Monday 1st February 2027 Electric Bristol   A glacial wall of denser-than-dense sound. Dallas Texas’ Frozen Soul lives up to their name as the sound of death metal at its most cold and classic. From the first note of their Century Media debut, ‘Crypt of Ice’ (2021), it’s like the march of Game of Thrones’ Night King put to sound, with their sonic savagery drawing early comparisons to scene icons Obituary and Bolt Thrower. Frozen Soul’s brand of straightforward, in-your-face death metal is a gasp of fresh air in a genre that’s stretched the very limits of technicality. Frozen Soul launched into 2023 with a tour alongside scene giants, Dying Fetus, before releasing their crushing, groove-laden sophomore record, ‘Glacial Domination’ (2023), once again drawing critical acclaim.  Now, Frozen Soul have returned in 2026 with their third full-length, ’No Place of Warmth’; another masterclass in old-school metal, guaranteed to incite pits and lay waste to any venue they bulldoze through. In 2027, this includes Electric Bristol, marking the bands first headline here in three years! Joining them is a stacked supporting bill ft. melodic death metallers, Darkest Hour, who just celebrated their 30th year, plus the thrashing violence of Denial of Life and the death/hardcore crossover assault of Dethroned.
