Themed Life drawing session with storytelling, props & music

Join us for a very special life drawing event where we bring the Odyssey to life.

The event is a collaboration between Life Drawing Extraordinaire! the team behind⚡Drawing Myths & Legends⚡ and the amazing ✴Callie (@cedarblack_)✴ the life model with the wild props we invite you to join us on an epic life drawing special where we reimagine the story of the Odyssey

✴ Wed 26th August 7-9pm

✴ The Lazy Dog, 112 Ashley Down Rd, Ashley Down, Bristol BS7 9JR

✴ £12 advance early bird / £15 on the door

✴ For this epic special we will use narration, props, performance and music to bring Homer's Odyssey to life as you have never seen before.

✴ This is low pressure creative and untutored session where everyone is welcome, regardless of experience with drawing

✴ We use narration, story, music and prompts to get our imagination going and the session is also suitable to those interested in other forms of creativity such as writing and poetry

✴ Poses range from a few seconds to 20 minutes

✴ Basic materials will be provided from different types of paper and drawing media but if you are used to your own material feel free to bring it along for your own comfort

If you drop in on the day please bring cash if possible! ‍

⚡Drawing Myths & Legends⚡ is a monthly themed life drawing event happening on the second Wednesday of the month inspired by ancient Greek mythology and folklore.

Through myth and fact, history with fiction, we are embarking on a journey through the aeons reimagining the timeless ancient stories of the Greeks, unraveling the thread that connects the past with the present and fact with fiction.
