Mikeys World Parent Workshop - In your child’s shoes will take place on 17 November 2026 at 19:00 in Bristol. This workshop uses virtual reality to help parents understand their children's perspectives.
Looking through a child’s eyes is different than through our own. VR can help us understand and explore how they see the world and risks!
Hayley Ryall founder of Mikey's World is running a informal parent workshop using a brand new virtual reality programme. Based on parenting but looking through the eyes of young people, we will be exploring concerns, risks or how to approach subjects and signs to look out for. Mums, Dad's, carers, guardian's and professionals that work with young people are all welcome, the session is best for people looking after children from ages 8-16. We will focus on grooming and exploitation and recognising the dangers and risks of the world our kids live in today.
