Tickets are now on sale

Tickets are now on sale for our next event at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol City Centre on Thursday 19th November, which will include four talks, dinner and networking. We’ll be starting a little earlier than usual to accommodate the extended programme, with doors opening at 4.00pm for a 4.30pm start. Further details and speaker announcements will follow next week. We hope you’ll be able to join us for another informative and entertaining event. Tickets are priced at £75 until 31st October.

As usual, our November event will feature a charity raffle. This year our chosen charity is 2wish (https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fus.list-manage.com%2FGa5CxvJEAPG%3Fe%3Da5bdc6b3c5%26c2id%3D7adc1df54bff504e565ac2cfc89b0823&data=05%7C02%7Cdale.woodward%40ipipeline.com%7Ce9baf8d86d594aae6d3908df18886c6a%7C4adda90d810f42fc852f18ed6744d7b3%7C0%7C0%7C639256646361350485%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=cj1mlTnfZI7cNZpDmtovxlyQgWvLTBfThcraQ8G%2BPnw%3D&reserved=0), who provide support for those affected by sudden death in young people. In addition to the raffle, we’re taking on the #Select74CharityChallenge to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity, and we’d love you and your colleagues to get involved too.

The concept is simple: SELECT your own challenge, the only rule is that it must be something to do with the number 74. We’re keen for people to select challenges that suit your talents, interests and time available. As long as it’s safe and legal, anything goes! Let us know what your challenge is by emailing select74@outlook.com or contacting one of our committee members. We’ll add your challenge to the list on our JustGiving page (https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fus.list-manage.com%2FQl00f_qf81K%3Fe%3Da5bdc6b3c5%26c2id%3D7adc1df54bff504e565ac2cfc89b0823&data=05%7C02%7Cdale.woodward%40ipipeline.com%7Ce9baf8d86d594aae6d3908df18886c6a%7C4adda90d810f42fc852f18ed6744d7b3%7C0%7C0%7C639256646361377228%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=tUG2Pi%2BnrMUcgAQTj2tQAd9o%2F3czQ3b6IIQUXmuhZOI%3D&reserved=0) (which includes some ideas for challenges) and promote it via email and LinkedIn. All you need to do is complete your challenge, share the JustGiving page with your contacts to encourage donations and use #Select74CharityChallenge to provide progress updates on LinkedIn.

We’ve got some brilliant challenges registered so far: a 74 minute walk around Bristol harbour (the Select 74 committee), 74 aerial hoop manoeuvres (Anne Casey), 74 squats a day for 74 days (Emily Clark), 74km cycle ride (Martin Doughty), 74 street signs in North Somerset (Tracy Gibson-Giles), 74 new dance moves (Liz King), running 74km in one month (Coleen Manuel & Felicity Pearce), writing 74 74-word biographies of direct ancestors (Jen Phillips), listening to music by 74 new bands/artists (Jon Rowlands) and recording 74 species of bird in his local area (Chris Wright).

We’re looking forward to seeing you at our event in November and hope you will consider taking part in the #Select74CharityChallenge and/or donating via our JustGiving page.
