This course is part of the education programme for ST3-4 trainees. It includes both simulated emergency scenarios and interactive workshops.

The content of the course focuses on the generic and specific set of skills that are required for middle grade doctor in Paediatrics, such as working within and leading a team, effective communication and organisation in an emergency situation. All scenarios are based around the acute situations you will encounter in your workplace.

This course is prepaid for by the Deanery for both Peninsula and Severn trainees. Please get in touch if you are not a Peninsula or Severn trainee but would like to attend this course.

Target audience: ST3 and early ST4; could also be attended by ST2 who have completed at least two (2) years of paediatrics

Format: 1 day course, 8:30am - 17:00pm

Venue: University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS FT Simulation Centre

Catering: Sandwich lunch is provided, please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
