Department S Bristol present Steve Pilgrim at The Louisiana, Bristol. As many will know Steve has been long term member of Paul Weller's band providing drums, guitar and vocals. He has also released a string of beautiful solo albums, the latest being the critically acclaimed 'Let The Love Be Found'

He played for us back in 2021 days after Covid restrictions had been lifted and anyone at that gig will remember what a magical evening it was.

STEVE PILGRIM

Steve Pilgrim is an artist and musician with over 25 years global touring experience. Starting out as a drummer with Liverpool 'Bandwagon' band The Stands (alongside bands like The Coral and The Zutons), Steve went on to play with John Power and Cast.

Over the last 18 years Steve has been touring as part of Paul Wellers band, providing vocal, acoustic and drums, and sharing the stage with the likes of Noel Gallagher, Johnny Marr, Corrine Bailey-Rae, Tom Jones, The Who and Kelly Jones (to name a few).

As a solo artist and singer-songwriter he's produced 6 studio albums (his latest, Let The Love Be Found released earlier this year), receiving the praise of fellow musicians and critics alike. The material sits proudly in the song-writing idiom of the acoustic folk/pop artists of the 60s while exploring the challenges of living and loving in the 21st century. Steve's songs are simultaneously celebratory and melancholy, intimate and honest, bringing into focus the struggles we all face and the humility that unites us.

SAM BRAITHWAITE

Acclaimed Bristol singer songwriter who was signed to Go Discs at 15 years of age with The Southernaires. He released a fantastic solo album 'Two Fingers' and is currently working on a new album with multi talented producer/musician Stew Jackson.
