Come join us for a spooktacular night at Arnos Vale Cemetery for The Bats' Ball 2026!

Welcome to the beautiful surroundings of Arnos Vale Cemetery, Bristol's finest Victorian cemetery, rich with history and wildlife. We've been fortunate enough to call Arnos our home for the last 9 years and we invite you to join us once more for a night of gothic opulence.

This year, we have new decor, but the same great Bats' Ball.

Aided by Bristol's finest gothic DJs, Missy Malice and Ant, you can dance the night away in Arnos' Grade II listed Anglian Chapel. Meanwhile, the Spielman Centre will be open as a chillout zone with photo opportunities, lots of seating and our trademark darkwave soundtrack playing throughout. The cafe bar is open all night, ready to serve you with the finest drinks - even a Bats' Ball themed cocktail!

Our beloved stalwart tour guides Janine and Charlotte are returning once more to offer wanders across the cemetery, delivering tales of Arnos Vale's most famous inhabitants and curious nuggets of the cemetery's history.

Our popular 'deathly discussion' lecturer this year is the amazing Cat Irving! Conservator of human remains at Surgeon's Hall in Edinburgh, Cat is a renowned expert in her field and a very popular speaker. We're thrilled to welcome her down to Bristol!

Beneath the Spielman Centre is the ever-popular Bottlejack and Hastner; the finest Victorian photographer!

Tarot readings are also available at an additional fee, and similarly a food van will be on site all night!

With lots of little surprises on the night, we'd love for you to join us once more.
