Soulful grooves, heartfelt stories and feel-good vibes...

THE FOO BIRDS

Join The Foo Birds, an independent five-piece band bringing together the warmth and groove of nu-soul and R&B with jazz-inspired harmonies and pop hooks, for a feel-good evening of original music.

Featuring songs from their newly released EP, Coloursound, The Foo Birds blend rich melodies, soulful grooves and heartfelt songwriting into a sound that is as uplifting as it is thought-provoking - with spontaneous, improvised moments that bring a sense of freedom and unpredictability to their live sound.

Beneath the uplifting energy, their songs explore the tension between a world that feels increasingly overwhelming and the simple things that keep us grounded - from climate anxiety and nostalgia for childhood simplicity, to the comfort of human connection and the vulnerability of wanting to be loved. Honest, heartfelt and threaded with a glimmer of hope, their music finds beauty in life’s uncertainties and celebrates the things that bring meaning.
