About This Event

Help us plant up to 6,000 bulbs across South Gloucestershire this October half term! Do your bit for nature and bring our open spaces alive with spring colour. Daffodils, snowdrops and crocuses flower in February-March, bringing early food for bees and butterflies, and providing beautiful displays to cheer up the winter months. Join us between 10am and 2pm, we will meet at the Bryants Hill entrance 51°27'03.9"N 2°31'13.4"W - Google Maps (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/51%C2%B027'03.9%22N+2%C2%B031'13.4%22W/@51.4509284,-2.520306,162m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m4!3m3!8m2!3d51.451071!4d-2.520398?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDkyNy4xIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D) Don’t worry if you’ve never planted a bulb before. All tools will be provided, including a pair of gloves, and Council Officers and volunteers will be on hand to help. Just wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting muddy or wet, and be aware that ground may be uneven.
