On the last Thursday of every month we take you on a guided tasting of five of the very best cheeses known to man. Each one will of course be paired with a delicious beer or cider and accompanied with fascinating fromage facts from our convivial host, “Jerry the Cheese”. Always an amazing night with booking essential. This month is our annual Perry Special! Perry and cheese have been consumed together since Roman times, and here in one of the world centres of fine perry, you will taste three of our very own local varieties courtesy of local perry expert and producer, Steve Chandler. We will commence the evening with a refreshing cider paired with a leading French cheese, and will conclude with a pairing using one of Normandy’s finest sparkling perries. Our fine cheeses for the evening will showcase a selection from France, Belgium and England. Their links to abbayes, monks and nuns with tales of intrigue and adventure will compliment your evening of fine food and drink pairing. An evening not to be missed! Cheese Club starts at 7.30pm.
