PARKER PAINTING POSSE Five weekly sessions starting Tuesday November 3rd 9.30 – 12.30 I am inviting a small group of experienced painters to paint with me at Frome Art School in Silk Mill West on a Tuesday morning for 3 hours. There will not be tuition, the idea is that we share the space, maybe paint a still life in front of us, or even paint each other working away and just be a group who enjoys sharing their thoughts and methods for those few hours. Shared energy – an open studio idea if you like. If you want to bring something you’re working on, that’s fine too. There are a few easels at the studio, but it may be best to bring your own. There are tables and chairs, a sink, and tea/coffee in the space. The space costs £75 for 3 hours so roughly if there’s 6 or 7 of us, so I am asking for £50 per person per 5 week term, starting 3rd November. (tbc), paid in advance to me. If you are interested please contact me, Eliza Parker, with an idea of what and how you paint with some examples. www.elizaparkerart.com Instagram: @elizaparker_art It will be a selection process and hopefully the people selected will be like-minded but not necessarily the same kind of style. There is plenty of parking near Silk Mill West on Vicarage Street and at M&S car park. If you have mobility issues then parking at the Silk Mill can be arranged (in advance).
