Join us for our monthly guided tour of The Sheds, a landmark innovation hub and home to the Bristol Digital Futures Institute and MyWorld.
This tour provides a general overview of the building, including the range of flexible workspaces, collaboration areas, and specialist facilities that support cutting-edge research, creative technology, and industry partnerships. You’ll learn how the space is used to bring together researchers, businesses, and creatives, and gain insight into the kinds of projects and activities that take place here.
Please note, there may be occasions when we cannot access all of our specialist spaces if they are in use for research. If you require a more in-depth, technical specialist tour, please contact: sheds-enquiries@bristol.ac.uk
Getting to the venue
The Sheds is just a 5-minute walk from Temple Meads station. There is bike parking available at the front of the building. You are encouraged to use public transport where possible.
There is no general parking on site. We have two parking spaces, located on the forecourt, which are reserved for blue badge and University disabled badge holders. There is a very small and very busy NCP car park across the road, behind the ATS garage (often spaces are full by 8am) but the Gardiner Haskins car park at BS2 0HN is a short walk away. Other parking options may be found on Where to park in Bristol. Whilst the Sheds sits outside of the Bristol Clean Air Zone, your journey there might go through it. Please refer to the CAZ website if you intend to drive.
