About This Event

Plus Importance Project is a charity focused on improving understanding and inclusion of people in the + of LGBT+, defined as sexualities, gender identities, relationship orientations and sex characteristics including, but not limited to, asexual, genderfluid, genderqueer, intersex, non-binary, pansexual, polyamorous and queer. The number of people identifying in the + of LGBT+ is growing significantly, particularly in younger generations, so it's important for everyone to improve their understanding and practices to better include people in the +. Would you benefit from our support and expertise? This is a 2.5 hour training session to help you understand and include people in the + of LGBT+. We recommend attending if: - You're already familiar with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender identities. We cover these briefly but most of our focus is on other LGBT+ identities. - You're open to changing your practices to create a more inclusive environment, going beyond the legal minimum. We've had excellent feedback from our training so far so we're sure you'll love it too: - 98% of attendees said they would recommend our training to others! - "The training was fantastic, engaging, and educational.
