We are planning to offer the following class option:

Tuesday evening class (6pm - 9pm)

Starting week commencing Tuesday 15 September 2026 for 18 weeks (term-time only).

Course Cost and Funding

The course cost is £400 including all lessons, books and exams (you will be required to pay for your AAT membership registration in order to complete the exam)

Full course funding is available as long as you do not already have this qualification, are aged 19+, currently live in the U.K. and either, currently earn less than £25,750 per year or are unemployed and in recipt of universal credit.

There are no formal requirements to join this course.

Qualifications

AAT Level 2 Bookkeeping

What you'll learn (core modules)

Introduction to Bookkeeping – setting up systems, processing customer and supplier transactions, receipts and payments, and ledger accounts.

Principles of Bookkeeping Controls – using control accounts, bank reconciliation, journals, and producing trial balances.

How will I be assessed?

All assessments are computer-based and set by AAT.

You will complete 2 exams to gain your qualification.

This class is planned to take place face to face in the classroom at Thetford Learning Centre (Charles Burrell Centre).
