Unleash your creativity and start writing with confidence with our 8-week course.

Whether you're new to creative writing or have written with me before, this friendly eight-week course will give you practical techniques to generate ideas, develop your skills and build confidence.

We'll explore Word Banks and Free Writing before developing the fundamentals of good storytelling: believable characters, engaging plots and memorable settings.

Through videos, discussion and plenty of practical writing, you'll experiment with different approaches, develop your own writing voice and discover what works for you.

You'll receive written feedback on your work, along with individual advice to help you develop your writing and your own projects.

By the end of the course, you'll have a collection of new writing, fresh ideas and the confidence to keep writing.

Come along and enjoy some creative time in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere that will get you writing.

With expert tutor David Richardson

David has been teaching creative writing for over 20 years. He has also worked professionally as a copywriter in the motoring industry, producing engaging content for a wide range of audiences. His first young adult novel is due to be self-published later this year.

He has volunteered with the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), meeting published authors, literary agents and editors and gaining valuable insight into both writing and publishing.

David's classes combine practical techniques, constructive feedback and a friendly, supportive atmosphere, helping writers build confidence and enjoy the creative process.
