The Big Buxton Conversation 3 will occur on 14 November 2026 at Buxton Methodist Church. The event invites community input on future priorities for the town over the next few decades. Attendance is free.
We want to hear what the people of Buxton want our town to be like 10, 20 or 30 years from now. What are your priorities for our town?
What kind of town could Buxton be? How do we want our town to feel? What are your priorities for Buxton? This is an opportunity for everyone who lives, works, invests, learns, and plays in Buxton to contribute to the long term Vision for our town. What do you value and want to keep? What is missing? What do we want less of?
This is an interactive workshop style event to ask big picture, long term questions broought to you by the We Are Buxton Community Forum. We hope to emerge with a Vision for Buxton formed and validated by the community. That overarching Vision can then be used to guide plans and priorities. Please be aware that this event is not a Council consultation and we are not gathering to discuss details about The Springs, toilets or parking.
Participation is FREE and open to ALL. We just ask you to register so that we can manage numbers.
The We Are Buxton Community Forum is made up of 15 local groups each working in their own way to make Buxton the best place it can be.
