A 10-15k guided trail run around Kinder from Hayfield followed by a social lunch gathering at Glossop Market food hall

The Trail Run

We're excited to step out further into the Peak District with this very easy going, social paced guided trail run of around 12/13K. The run will be in the vicinity of Kinder and will obviously involve plenty hills climbs. However, we will follow our evergreen format of making sure everyone is together. Meaning, we will stop when to make sure EVERYONE gets a rest. Walk up hills where needed and run at manageable easy social pace. We always have a leaders front and back so you'll be supported at all times.

The overall distance may vary but as always, the group will decide on how far we run on the day. Please account for being on the hills for up to 2.5-3hrs and come prepared for the winter weather and terrain, bringing the right amount of clothing, fuel and hydration for the day.

Gear & clothing

Please pack and wear suitable clothing for the weather on the day.

You will need:

Run vest with layers, gloves & mini first aid kit if you have one

Hydration (at least 1ltr)

Snacks/ any fuel you require (est. 300 calories min)

Please make sure you wear grippy trail run trainers

Post run scran

Following the run, we'll head to the food hall at the new Glossop Market Hall for some top post run scran. There's a great choice of street kitchens and social seating for us to gather, chat and chow. Please make your own way there from Hayfield. It's a 10 min drive in the car.

Rendezvous, parking & getting there

Rendezvous - 10:00AM meet - 10:30AM DEPART

Our meeting point is the Bowden Bridge Carpark in Hayfield.

Parking is available in Bowden Bridge carpark and on the road. Please park with consideration of local residents and other outdoor lovers, providing clear access for emergency vehicles at all times.
