ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT COMMUNITY LUNCH. Pull up a chair and join us around a shared table where Ukrainian food, culture & conversation bring people

Borshch Time is more than just a lunch — it’s cultural exchange, care and a sense of community. It is also an opportunity for us, as Ukrainians, to share our hospitality in gratitude for the kindness and support we have received from people across the UK.

At Borshch Time, food is not simply served — it is shared. It brings people together across cultures, languages and experiences.

Many guests return again and again — thank you for helping this community grow.

ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT COMMUNITY LUNCH

A hearty homemade meal (subject to delicious seasonal changes), prepared with care to nourish both body and soul.

🧁 Desserts & hot drinks

available through additional voluntary cash donations. Homemade cakes and pies are baked with love by our wonderful volunteers.

The menu may change slightly depending on seasonal ingredients — but only for the better.

Impact & Donations

Donations collected during the event help cover essential event costs, including ingredients, venue hire and basic supplies.

After these costs, and a small administrative contribution (approximately 20%), the remaining funds support humanitarian work connected with Ukraine through Convoy4Ukraine (https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/yaryna-yemets) (UK Charity number 1211075).

Convoy4Ukraine fundraises to purchase 4x4 vehicles and ambulances, fill them with aid, and personally deliver them across Europe to Ukrainian partners.

What to Expect

• A warm and welcoming community atmosphere

• Authentic Ukrainian home cooking prepared by volunteers

• A shared table where locals and Ukrainians can meet and connect

• A relaxed gathering with conversation, culture and food

• A chance to experience Ukrainian hospitality and traditions

😉 Come hungry, bring friends and family, and enjoy an afternoon of food, culture and community.

📸We may take photos to share the atmosphere of the event. If you prefer not to appear in photos, please let a volunteer know.
