We have been a highly effective and successful business networking group covering the local area for the last 10 years, in fact this month marks our 10th birthday.

At this months meeting we will be running a session on how to get the most from this group and groups like it.

If you run a business and want to learn how to make networking groups work for you then come along and see for yourself. There's far more to it than just paying a membership fee and turning up to a few meetings. You will see how maximise your investment (money and time) and really get the most from it.

Are you a local business looking to grow your network of contacts and receive business referrals and leads?

We are an established business networking group, based in St Ives and we expect to have around 35 local business leaders here, so come along and get to know us, promote your business and enjoy a warm friendly group of people.

The aim of the group is to help members create and nurture relationships with other members which, through knowledge and trust, leads to the growth of our businesses through introductions and referrals.

But it's not just leads and referrals, we all get a huge amount of support from the other members. It's like a little community of like minded people, often going through the same things.

What you should expect:

This is an informal group with a business focus, members and guests are looking to create connections with the other members. Although there is a structure to the meeting we are not rigid and stuffy, this is about making the most of the meeting and chatting with the other people there. We start with informal chatting, move into introductions and then a short presentation and then breakfast.

What should you bring?

Bring business cards, leaflets / flyers, samples and even a roller banner if you have one. Bring an open mind too, what we mean by that is: lots of people have preconceptions of what networking is like, this group is run for the benefit of the members and to help their businesses grow.

Pretty much yes. We have exclusive business categories which means that we only have one of each type of business. Here is a list of available categories. If your business is not listed here, please get in touch to see if space is available.

Why should I attend?

Our membership is varied and we have professionals, tradesmen, sole traders and larger companies; and we all get something different out of it. Most of us get a decent amount of business referrals which provides a good return, and most of us also get a huge amount of support from the other members. We help each other out, provide help, support. Many members get together outside the meetings and share stories and best practice.

The group is well established and some of the members have been here for 10 years plus, we are not about 'bums on seats', we are about meeting other local people who have the same needs as us: to grow our business and to feel support when we need it.

The cost is £18 and that includes a breakfast and as much coffee as you can drink.
