**Cambridge Japanese & English Meetup / ケンブリッジ日英交流会** **About the Meetup:** This is a completely casual, relaxed social gathering—no formal lessons, presentations, or pressure! Whether you want to practice speaking or simply hang out and chat over a drink, everyone is welcome. **Meeting Time & Place:** 6:30 PM at The Anchor pub (Silver Street, Cambridge, CB3 9HY). **The Plan:** We will grab some tables, get a drink, and enjoy casual conversation in both Japanese and English. Everyone is free to buy their own drink or food at the bar. **Finding the Group:** I will post an update in the event comments as soon as I arrive to let everyone know exactly where we are sitting (e.g. upstairs, downstairs, or by the river terrace). Check the comments once you arrive! Late arrivals are totally fine—feel free to drop in anytime between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM. **Who Can Join:** Anyone interested in Japanese-English language exchange, whether you are a native speaker, advanced, or just starting out. As we meet in a pub, an age requirement of 18+ is in place. **Making Friends:** You don't have to be laser-focused on language study to join! Whether you're looking to practice Japanese or English, meet people with shared interests, or simply make new friends in Cambridge on a relaxed midweek evening, everyone is welcome.
