We are getting together in Cambridge for a hands-on session dedicated to the basics of stretching fresh mozzarella. This event is perfect for anyone in the Curd Nerd community who has been curious about the science behind the stretch or who has tried making cheese at home and wants to refine their technique. We will walk through the process from curd to final ball, focusing on temperature control and the proper way to knead the cheese for that perfect, silky texture. Whether you are a complete beginner or someone who has experimented with a few batches in your own kitchen, you will fit right in. We will have all the supplies ready to go, and it will be a relaxed environment where we can learn from each other and troubleshoot any past kitchen mishaps. We will finish up by enjoying some of the fresh mozzarella we made, so bring an appetite and any questions you have been holding onto.
