The Open Air Weekend Sketching Social Club is heading to Cambridge for a couple of days of casual, outdoor sketching. This is a low-pressure way to get outside, find a quiet corner, and draw alongside others who enjoy the process of observing the city. We do not have a formal instructor or a strict schedule; the idea is simply to gather, pick a spot, and spend some time capturing the architecture and green spaces of the area at our own pace. This weekend is open to everyone, whether you are an experienced artist or someone who just likes to doodle in a notebook from time to time. We will meet at a central location each morning to say hello, then find nearby spots to set up our chairs or find a bench. It is a great opportunity to meet fellow sketchers, share tips, or just enjoy the company of others while working on your own projects. If you are planning to come along, please let us know by RSVPing so we have a rough idea of how many people to look out for.
