We are getting together for another session of Cambridge Voltage Controlled Dreams. This is an open, informal space for anyone interested in modular synthesis, semi-modular gear, or just the process of sculpting sound with electricity. Whether you have a massive Eurorack case you want to show off or are just getting started with a single desktop unit, the goal is to share patches, swap techniques, and enjoy the sound of analog hardware in a room together. The format is pretty loose. We will have plenty of power strips and table space for everyone to set up, plug in, and start experimenting. There is no formal agenda or performance pressure, just a community of people who enjoy the process of patching. It is a great chance to troubleshoot a tricky signal flow, listen to what others are building, or simply meet some fellow synth enthusiasts in the area. If you have been meaning to get your gear out of the studio for a bit of collaborative noise, please go ahead and RSVP so we can keep track of the headcount and ensure we have enough table space for everyone. Looking forward to seeing what everyone patches this time around.
