Both previous times they played in J2 in 2022 & 2025 they sold out, so you're advised to get tickets early! For those that need an introduction, Channel One are in their 47th year with Mikey Dread and his brother Trevor running the sound. Ras Sherby & Macky Banton on mic duties & renowned for their freedom fighting songs & chants. Their sessions are known to uplift, edify, educate, break down barriers, create reality shocks, decolonize the mind, cause spiritual insights & make your body move in a free up, liberating way Their Sound System has a clarity, depth, weight and vibration that is felt nowhere else, playing a strictly conscious mix of roots reggae music, old to new, full of dubplates and upfull steppas. Sista Linda will be there with Channel One's Culture Stall alongside S&T Caribbean food and Akashic culture stall including vinyl and cds.
