Where: Cambridge | Central Cambridge (final venue TBA)

OPEN CASTING / CREATIVE MEET-AND-GREET

The networking evening also serves as an informal open casting and crewing session for Trident’s upcoming films to be shot in 2026 and 2027 throughout the UK and EU, including:

FATED (feature film) (https://tridentfilm.substack.com/subscribe)

The Mavka (feature film) (https://tridentfilm.substack.com/)

Multiple short films (https://tridentfilm.substack.com/p/trident-short-films-first-open-casting)

Other filmmakers use the event as an open casting opportunity too, with Fleet Street Productions (https://www.fleetstreetproductions.com/vellum-movie) recently booking at least five actors and an entire crew for their next feature film at our events. Framespotting Films (https://framespotting.co.uk/) have also recently made offers to a number of actors and crew for upcoming short films that they met at our event.

FILM INDUSTRY NETWORKING NIGHT / OPEN CASTING

Since launching in November last year, our events and screenings have already welcomed and connected more than 2,000 people, and we continue to grow, improve the format, and build an even stronger mix of film and TV and theatre industry creatives at each gathering.

This relaxed and open social gathering brings together actors of varying levels of experience, film directors, producers, crew, and emerging creatives. Connect with our team and meet other cast/crew and expand your professional circle.

It’s an opportunity to introduce yourself, and ask questions about roles, departments, and future partnerships. Whether you’re seeking casting opportunities or behind-the-camera work or just looking to socialise and make new connections this is the ideal setting to take that step.

Who it’s for:

Actors • Directors • Producers • Casting • Agents • Film Crew

We look forward to seeing you there as we work towards building a wider Trident film community in our home town and beyond!

Trident’s events are friendly, focused, and full of dedicated film and TV creatives, making it easy to build genuine connections. Seeing their work on the big screen confirms this is a serious production company, and I would wholeheartedly recommend the events to fellow industry professionals. Andy Wilson, Actor

I remember booking my ticket early. I was excited because we don’t have many events like this in Hungary. It was absolutely worth the ticket and the time. I met so many interesting people and I’d love to come again. Adam Papp, Director of Photography
