What’s it like living in a cloud? This is what we want to discover with you and your family! Through fun, creative activities which include making with unusual art materials, dance and drama, and playful writing, you will help us shape a new circus show for families that artists Florencia Nannetti and Monika Gravagno are researching with Arts Council funding. Parents and children will be supported by the artists to explore several different art activities, and some of what we discover with you will go on to be part of the script and set design of ‘Cloudbound’, a show about the importance of knowing your roots and celebrating where you’ve come from and where you’re going. These activities have been thought out to be a fun, interactive and creative experience for you to share as a family. Everyone is welcome, although we particularly want to work with families with experience of migration. Recommended for ages 5 to 9 This workshop is free (ticketed) 2pm – 4pm No previous experience needed Participants can claim up to £4 per person towards travel expenses.
