Synopsis

FAIRS'26 is intended to allow PhD and MRes/MPhil students working on AI related projects to discuss their research and issues around doing a PhD with senior scholars in the field and with other Forum attendees. ‍

The event includes:

Guidance on conducting research and writing the thesis.

Advice on undergoing a viva.

Advice and discussion on careers after a PhD.

An opportunity to present and discuss your work (5 min PPT presentation) with senior researchers and practitioners.

Ticket cost: £35 +VAT

Refunds/Cancellations:

We will issue a refund, excluding fees, if we receive a cancellation request within 14 days of the booking date or by noon on Monday, 7 December 2026; otherwise, we will allow name substitutions after this date.

Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
