What can I expect to cover during my 8-week course?
This class is for anyone. Demonstrations will take place at the beginning of each class. After that, students are encouraged to settle in and mellow out. We try to create a comfortable and relaxing environment in which people can get away from the concerns of their days for a few hours.
Students will be limited to keeping 8–10 pieces from the course. Students should be prepared to approach the course as an opportunity to learn and improve their technique, not to make dinner sets.
Each class will start with a demonstration — Tarragon often lets the students choose the demonstration.
Cleaning up is part of the 2.5 hours.
Please ensure you are able to attend as many days of the scheduled course as possible before you sign up. We will not refund missed classes, or be able to offer an alternative to any missed sessions. All the classes will be at capacity so we are unable to move people between them.
We are unable to run waiting lists and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. The courses often sell out quickly, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
What Do I Need To Bring?
You'll find full information in your welcome email, which is sent automatically upon signing up. All students will need to provide their own tools due to hygiene reasons. These can be picked up inexpensively online. A recommended link will be provided for the tools in your welcome email.
