Another instalment in the New Routes series, an evening of acoustic, folk and roots artists. Set out cabaret style with candles on tables, it’s a comfortable and intimate space to listen to the best emerging and established artists from the area. Featuring… Smith & Brewer Band Over the last ten years Smith And Brewer have played together all over the UK, toured with 10cc, Ralph McTell and Fairport Convention, amongst a busy performing schedule, and have played hundreds of shows together. Ben and Jimmy originally met at an event organised by Joan Armatrading for the acts she had chosen to support her on her 2015 tour. Although they originally planned to just write together, they soon realised that their different guitar playing styles and voices complemented each other and they started performing together regularly after their inaugural gig supporting Joan in front of a thousand-strong crowd. In 2024 they released their last album, ‘Back To The Country’ recorded over three days at Studiowz, a beautiful studio in a converted chapel in rural Pembrokeshire. Using a single stereo ribbon microphone, they recorded nine new songs in single takes. The recordings were then mastered for stereo, as well as Dolby Atmos, at Abbey Road Studios in London. As well as playing as a duo, their full band augments the intricate guitar work and vocal harmonies with the talents of their friends Sean O’Hanrahan on piano, Hammond organ and accordion, Fabian Bonner on double bass, Stuart Pringle on drums, and Malek Hyde-Smith on percussion. The first half of 2026 saw the duo take a short break to give Jimmy a chance to get used to looking after his new twins. The duo and the band are going to be playing again in the summer, and are booking shows for the end of the year into 2027, with a new full band album currently in the planning stage. Emilia Quinn Americana, Folk Rock and More… Emilia Quinn is a dynamic UK-based artist known for her raw, soulful voice and genre-bending sound influenced by Americana, Folk Rock, Blues and more. With a background in classical training and a passion for storytelling, Emilia creates emotionally charged music that resonates deeply with her listeners. Her powerful vocals and honest lyricism explore themes of resilience self-discovery, heartache and love making creative observations of the human condition. Emilia’s music quickly caught live music lovers’ attention, leading her to perform at major festivals like Country2Country (London), The Long Road, Black Deer and share bills with prominent artists from the UK and USA. Her Award Nominated debut album ‘Wanderlust & Breaking Rules” (2023) was described as ‘a real mix of southern gospel, 70s Rolling Stones style riffola and heartfelt Blues/Folk/Country emotions’ – EF Country. It was followed by a highly anticipated second studio album in 2025 titled ‘Dented Halos’. Released September 2025 the album gained Number 1 in the iTunes Blues Chart and 27 in the all genres chart. Spell-binding and beautifully raw, Rock The Joint Magazine describe it as “an album that breathes, breaks, heals, and rises again.” Known for her captivating live performances, Emilia’s on-stage energy and authenticity are solidifying her reputation as an excellent live performer as well as a high-quality recording artist. photo credit: Michelle Fredericks Stage Times 7.30 Doors 8.00 TBC 8.30 Interval 1 8.45 Emilia Quinn 9.30 Interval 2 9.45 Smith & Brewer Band 10.30 Finish No booking fees when you become a Member – save £2.50 per ticket!
