Comedy Stand - Up About Ukrainian Books, Writers & The Joy of Reading.

☕📚 NOVEMBER AT THE UKRAINIAN LITERARY & HISTORICAL COFFEEHOUSE

🎭 Can Ukrainian literature be funny? Absolutely! In fact, sometimes laughter is exactly what literature needs. 😉

Join us for a special afternoon with Mykhailo Zhuravel, Ukrainian literary enthusiast, participant in book fairs, literary conferences and gatherings of contemporary Ukrainian writers.

Get ready for a delightful blend of stand-up humour, amusing literary anecdotes, funny stories from real life and unexpected adventures in the world of books!

Mykhailo will share entertaining stories about his personal encounters with Ukrainian writers, curious moments hidden between the pages of books, and even the hilarious challenges of teaching children to love reading.

And perhaps you will discover that Ukrainian literature is far more mischievous than you ever imagined!

📖 Laughter, Literature & the Ukrainian Spirit

Many contemporary Ukrainian writers are now serving in Ukraine’s Armed Forces or volunteering to support their country. In these difficult times, humour has a special meaning.

We are not laughing to forget the pain. We are laughing to find the strength to live, create, support one another and keep our Ukrainian word and culture alive.

This is an afternoon for good humour, warm conversations, a little self-irony and the pleasure of being together.

☕ Come for the coffee, stay for the stories!

Bring your friends, your curiosity and your sense of humour.

Expect genuine laughter, unexpected literary discoveries and wonderful company in the welcoming atmosphere of our Ukrainian Literary & Historical Coffeehouse.
