For the first time ever, see The Drifters in the magical and remarkable setting of Ely Cathedral, lit by a hundreds of candles!

Join us on Friday 27th November 2026 to be part of this special event and experience the wonder of The Drifters by Candlelight as they perform all of their classic hits including - Saturday Night at the Movies, You’re More Than A Number, Come on Over to My Place, Under the Boardwalk and many more!

The Drifters have been inducted the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, chosen to perform for the President of the United States and listed among the Greatest Artists of All Time by Rolling Stone magazine.

The Drifters is a long-lived American doo wop Pop R&B band, originally formed by Clyde McPhatter (of Billy Ward & the Dominoes) in 1953 from New York City, NY, USA. There have been over 60 members since 1953. www.theofficialdrifters.com shows the current lineup and tour dates. The original Drifters Ahmet Ertegün of Atlantic Records approached Clyde McPhatter after he left The Dominoes and signed him. McPhatter first recruited several members of his former group
